WWTP UV Disinfection & Miscellaneous Improvements (17-06A)

General Work Description: A. Replace an existing chlorine disinfection system with an ultraviolet (UV) disinfection system. The UV equipment has been pre-purchased by the Owner. B. There are mandatory work restrictions to ensure the Owner has treatment capacity during construction. C. Construct concrete channels and division boxes inside one of the two existing chlorine contact tanks. D. Construct 15 million gallons per day (mgd) effluent pump station. E. Construct a 4,500 square foot building over the existing chlorine contact tanks. The tanks will remain in service during construction. F. Electrical, instrumentation and controls. G. Underground piping.H. Other equipment and appurtenances to make a complete and operable system. Scope of work includes the following: Division 1 - General Requirements, Division 2 - Site Construction, Division 3 - Concrete, Division 4 - Masonry, Division 5 - Metals, Division 6 - Wood Plastics and Composites, Division 7 - Thermal and Moisture Protection, Division 8 - Openings - Door and Windows, Division 9 - Finishes, Division 10 - Specialties, Division 11 - Equipment, Division 14 - Conveying Equipment, Division 15 - Mechanical, Division 16 - Electrical.

A non-mandatory pre-bid conference for all interested bidders will be held on April 25, 2018 at 1:00 pm local time at the City of Pullman Wastewater Treatment Plant, N.W. 1025 Guy Street, Pullman, WA 99163. Representatives of Owner and Engineer will be present to discuss the project. Bidders are encouraged to attend and participate in the conference.
